Except in Duncanville, where over the past two years some of our friends and neighbors who have donated their time to City boards and commissions have been removed simply because they disagreed with members of the Duncanville City Council. Recently, some members of the Duncanville City Council (Mayor Hodge, Stephen Jones and Johnette Jamerson) wanted to prevent a group of citizens from cleaning up a local park. Shouldn’t we want to bring our friends and neighbors working together for the good of the community?
