On Leadership in Duncanville (A Continuing Series)

“Rank does not confer privilege or give power. It imposes responsibility.”
Peter F. Drucker

Responsibility is derived from the word “responsible”, which can be thought of as accountable or trustworthy.

DUNCANVILLE VOTERS:

How does your candidate measure up?

Is your candidate responsible for the waste of several hundred thousand taxpayer dollars on a failed forensic audit and a frivolous lawsuit?  (Mayor Hodge, Stephen Jones and Johnette Jameson consistently voted for the forensic audit and the lawsuit).

Does your candidate actively support bringing the community together by encouraging and participating in community events or are their actions irresponsibly designed to drive the community apart?

Does your candidate seek cooperation or seem to enjoy conflict and gridlock?

Does your candidate act in an irresponsible manner when interacting with City Hall staff creating an unhealthy work environment in City Hall?

Final Thought:

It’s hard for a selfish and self centered person to act responsibly.  It’s extremely difficult for an angry person to be positive.

Think about it.
