On Leadership in Duncanville (A Continuing Series) May 6

Anger is one letter short of danger. ~Author Unknown

The Hodge/Jones/Dotson campaign has dedicated itself to making you angry….at Councilmembers, at “the good old boys, at the interim City Manager, at the City Attorney, at “special interests”, etc.,etc., etc.

In my opinion, a vote cast in anger is a vote that places our community in danger of losing its relevance. I believe that a year ago, you were disappointed in the performance of the Mayor and City Council and you responded by providing three new faces on the Council while sending a serious message to the long time District 5 representative (which unfortunately is being ignored). Because of what you did last year, the Mayor and the Crescent Realty organization has repeatedly lashed out in anger against the tide of change. Now in this election I urge you to continue and complete the change you started last year.

Don’t allow someone to make you angry….stay resolute in your desire to move Duncanville forward as we strive to be the “City of Champions”.

Today is the last day of early voting. If you have voted already (as the kids would say “holler at your boy!), thank you.

If not,

Go Vote!

Thank you kindly.

  1. I’M ON YOUR SIDE. WE HAVE TO VOTE MAYOR HODGE OUT OF OFFICE. SHE HAS CAUSED SO MUCH DIVISION AMONG THE CITIZENS OF DUNCANVILLE WITH ALL HER NOT TELLING THE TRUTH. SHE AND HER COHORTS SHOULD HAVE TO REIMBUSE THE DCCD OR THE CITY OF DUNCANVILLE FOR THE LEGAL EXPENSES INCURRED WITH THE LAWSUIT FILED AGAINST MONTE ANDERSON.
