Thoughts from last night’s Chamber Debate:
Mayor Hodge proclaimed that through her stewardship, the City was able to replace the emergency warning system for the City. And that was part of the budget that was approved for this fiscal year.
BUT SHE VOTED AGAINST THE BUDGET!
So help me understand…..how can you take credit for something you opposed?
She also touts getting the sound system replaced in the Senior Center. Yes, that was part of the budget that was approved for this fiscal year.
BUT SHE VOTED AGAINST THE BUDGET!
And this is integrity?
She also talked about the five lawsuits she settled when she took office….one of which was the Paul Ford case. The one where she loaned money to Paul to help him get along while he was suing the City. (I’d be interested in knowing if she ever got paid back).
Then she turns around and blames the current Council for settling the lawsuit she started against Monte Anderson, which if the lawsuit had not started, the City would not be out of several hundred thousand dollars of your money!
Why is it ok if she does it, but it’s wrong if I do it?
This is a double standard!
And this is integrity?
Are you kidding me?
It’s Time To Trade Up!
